The Lismore Swans struggled to field a side on the weekend against the Tweed Coast Tigers going down at Pottsville. Spendour in the grass weekend hurt the Swans with numbers and the Tigers capatilised. Confusion before the match saw the Swans players travel to Round Mountain due to not being notified of the change in venue.
The Swans fought hard with no bench and ended up with 15 players on the field by the end of the match with injury concerns providing bad news to an already difficult day. Plenty of positives to come out of the game with AJ and Kael having terrific games and Webby leading the side with direction all day.
AJ kicked 4 for the day while Webby kicked 2. Best on the day were AJ, Kenny, Shaun, Ducky, Devo, Chilli.
Lismore 6.8-44 to Tweed 16.19-115.
A big game next weekend with the Swans needing to win the final match of the season to guarantee a spot in the finals. Lismore will take on Bond Uni at home.
