The Lismore Swans are through to the finals with a strong 31 point win over second placed Bond Uni. The Lismore Swans played a good brand of team football to lead at every change and come out on top at the end of the day. The importance of this game was significant considering a win was a must to cement a spot in the finals and they definately couldn't rely on Ballina going down as they also won their game by 5 goals.
Highlight of the game would have been the overall team effort and the big fella Dean Webb kicking 9 for the day. The Swans are through to the finals but will very quickly move on from enjoying todays win as focus is now on the first semi final against Byron next week.
Best for the Swans were Dean Webb, Shaun Wadwell, Chris Devonish, Rhys Lavery, Chris Fielder, Scott Brown.
Goals went to Dean Webb with 9, 2 each to Shaun Wadwell and Daniel Bruce, and singles to Jason Bevan, Scott Brown, Kael Herman and Tom Merrett.
