Any member, player or official who is found to have engaged in, or is suspected of engaging in the unacceptable use of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or any other social networking site in connection with the club in any way, may be brought before the committee.
Without limiting the operation of this rule, unacceptable use may involve the member, player or official:
(i) Criticising umpires, players, officials, club or any other person involved in Australian Football;
(ii) Engaging in bullying behaviour including but not limited to name-calling or making condescending, offensive (including racist or sexist) or abusive remarks about any person involved in Australian Football; or
(iii) Engaging in any other behaviour which the club reasonably determines, in its absolute discretion, to have breached this policy.
It is not relevant that the person making the remarks was not aware that content could or would be made publicly available.
This rule is to be interpreted broadly.
