Zillmere Eagles AFL players Ally Anderson and Tayla Harris have been named in the All-Australian team after standout performances at the 2012 AFL Under 18 Youth Girls National Championships in Adelaide.
Eighteen-year-old Ally was the surprise package during the tournament and was named at half-back flank.
She becomes the first Queensland indigenous player selected in the under 18 girls' All-Australia.
Tayla, 15, was selected for the second year in a row at ruck, after being a crucial part of Queensland's defensive line. AFL Queensland female programs manager Julia Price said both girls, who play their club football for Zillmere, were integral to Queensland's best- ever finish at a division 1 national championships.
They finished second to Victoria.
The final of the championships was played at AAMI Stadium after the AFL Port Adelaide v North Melbourne game.
