Approximately 70 Under 12 and Under 14 juniors enjoyed an hour of footy fun with some Maroochydore Senior players.
The evening was organized as part of the ongoing cooperation between the Senior and Junior players and coaches, with both Junior and Senior Clubs enjoying the shared benefits that go with a unified Maroochydore AFL Club.
The boys enjoyed rotating between four stations of drills and games, which culminated in all players forming a circle in the middle of the oval and singing a very loud and enthusiastic rendition of the club song.
With a huge amount of Junior Roos pushing through the AFL Sunshine Coast Junior League it is great to be able to offer those players the opportunity to mingle with the 'big-boys'.
AFL Clubs across the state have similar relationships with junior and senior footballers working together to not only grow the sport but show junior footballer pathways in organised team sport.
