The Maroochydore Roos are pleased to announce the key signing of former Redland and Queensland State representative player Josh Norman to the club for season 2014.
A robust, no-frills key defender/utility who was a prized 2009 pick-up by Redland where he earned himself Queensland state honours in his first year at the club as a centre half back.
Known for his hardness around the contest, the 26-year-old has found himself in a range of positions from the backline, to midfield, centre half forward and even into the ruck.
Norman has spent the past two seasons playing for Mt Eliza in the strong Peninsula Football where he continued to earn himself plaudits having made the Leagues Team of the Year in both seasons playing as a midfielder on top of the club's B&F in season 2013.

The recruitment of the versatile Norman is a massive signing that further bolsters Maroochydore’s playing stocks for the revamped 2014 Northern Conference.
