Burgs' rampaging Reserves squad will play off for the 2014 Premiership against Mayne at Burpengary this Saturday from 11.15 pm.
The team earned their spot in the Big Dance with 14 point against a Noosa outfit which they had played twice in the previous three weeks and gone down by a solitary point on both occasions in swamp-like conditions.
But on the dry and wide ground of the Burpengary Sporting precinct Burgs' boys were able to showcase the legspeed of their youth brigade to run out to a 26 point three quarter time lead before Noosa closed the gap in the final quarter.
Brock Zeidler was again tireless in the ruck while Tim Hynes showed leadership and experience in the backline.
The Roos will now face minor premiers Maybe but will go into the clash confident that they are the only team to topple them this year, albeit way back in round 5.
Supporters Wanted
The team is now calling on as many Roos supporters to get down to Burpenpgary this Saturday from 11pm to cheer the boys home.
A supporters bus leaving Fisherman's Rd is being organised. Stay tuned for details.
